Umpiring Commitments
Under PDCA rules, teams receiving the bye in each grade are required to provide three player/umpires to officiate at matches other than in their own grade. The player/umpire shall be considered to be an official umpire and shall officiate at the bowlers end.
It is important that each team performs their umpiring duties. Ten points are awarded for umpiring and those points could mean the difference between making the finals or not. Last Season one Baulko team did not umpire and lost their 10 points - and finished fifth, missing the semis. If they had umpired and got the 10 points they would have finished second!
Any team that does not umpire is also fined $250 per game - this is paid by your team, not by the club.
Ground locations can be found on the PDCA web site. Any late changes to grounds will be advised.
